However, it is important to be aware that there is much vulnerable wildlife in this area. Ground nesting birds, Red, Roe and Sica Deer, and sheep and cattle in the fields, glens and moorland, so you will be expected to have your dogs under full control at all times. We think it’s also worth mentioning the fact that a cow can be TEN TIMES more dangerous than a bull when nursing a calf so please avoid walking through a field when there are calves about as the heifer regards dogs as a serious threat to her offspring.
